SITA launches ATC Connect for global flight messaging
SITA, a supplier of air transport technology, unveiled ATC Connect, a global messaging solution to transform air traffic control communications (ATC).
The new messaging platform is designed to allow the secure sharing of flight information with air navigation service providers (ANSP) worldwide, rationalize data exchange and improve the efficiency of the flight operation .
The new “easy -to -use global solution” allows airlines, airports and field managers to communicate operational flight messages with ANSP, including flight plans and aviators (NOTAM).
This solution supports the transition of aeronautical fixed telecommunications networks (AFTNS) to mail management systems (ATS) of modern messaging services (AMHS), facilitating advanced data sharing, including major messages and file images.
In addition, the service provides transparent communications throughout the flight operations, converting messages between AFTN and AMHS systems depending on the Ansp environment.
It also provides direct access to the International Civil Aviation Organization (OCAO) AMHS ATC, allowing a single transmission point for flight plans and meteorological data, which accelerate thanks and real -time answers.
