Perched a few steps from the emblematic Union Square and the ThéÒtre de San Francisco district, this last addition to the luxury and lifestyle portfolio, owned by a subsidiary of Fairwood Capital and operated by Aperture Hotels, marks the first Hotel of the brand to open on the west coast of the west.

Originally built in 1924, Hotel Spero is a mixture of historical charm and modern atmosphere. Its 236 guest rooms and 23 suites create a welcoming atmosphere that embodies the ethics of the unique living room collection. Unique in its identity, the design of the Spero hotel begins with the architecture of Spanish colonial renaissance, which is obvious in elements such as hand -painted ceiling beams and travertine floors in the hall, bathed in a natural light. The preservation of the centenary architecture of the building combined with an innovative modern design has earned the property a prestigious place in the national register of the historic places of San Francisco, cement of its famous monument status.

The Vignette collection combines the individual identity of each property with the brand’s collective vision to provide a more authentic travel experience. Each property is unique, but united through its key characteristics – Memorable rituals And “A way for good”:

Memorable rituals – tailor -made to each property – Connect customers with the distinct local identity, locality and cultural landscape. Spero means “I hope” in Latin and, at the Spero Hotel, customers will be able to write a message of hope to their future me on one of the free postcards. After their stay, the property will send the postcard to the favorite address of the guest on its requested date. The guests simply write a message, approach the postcard already drew and wait for their message to arrive.

A way for good The initiatives are woven in all the vignette collection properties to represent the commitment of each hotel to positively improve people, places and the planet. The initiatives of the Spero Hotel are inspired by the former owner of the historic property, the philanthrope Elizabeth Glide, who transformed property into the only temperance of the city, creating a refuge for women, in 1935. Its Glide Foundation sustainable, a headlight of social justice, continues to offer vital services and empower those who need it. Hotel Spero participates in the free meal program of Glide’s Daily, where hotel colleagues have time to prepare and serve meals for those who need them. The hotel also favors work to a sustainable future, by replacing single -use toiletries with rechargeable toiletries, using efficient LED bulbs and low -rate water devices. Beyond that, Hotel Spero makes a gently used clothing donation through their “Rack giving” program. Customers can simply leave items on luggage support and the property will donate them to the St. Anthony foundation, a local non -profit organization determined to help the San Franciscans in need.

The creation of a space where hotel customers and residents meet is the signature restaurant of the Spero hotel, Jasper’s Corner Tap & Kitchen. Gastropub classics raised to intelligently designed favorites, its eclectic menus put the flavor inspired by fusion and the biological ingredients which are also aimed at vegetarian palates alongside a rotating selection of beers from the bay region to the tap. Jasper’s undergoes a reimagination to reveal a culinary experience and refreshed drinks in the near future.

The Spero Hotel has 3,000 square feet of meeting spaces and events extending over five versatile rooms. Inside each space, the elegance and the historical character of San Francisco mix in a transparent way with contemporary sophistication and adaptable equipment, addressing everything, groups of group rooms with retreats of intimate frames.
